Topping Riding Club is one of the oldest riding establishments in the East End. Located on the corner of Gibson and Daniels Lane on 25 gorgeous acres, we are just a few miles south of Bridgehampton village and within walking distance to the Ocean. Our professional staff offers full board and riding lessons for all levels year round as well as a Pony Camp for children during the summer months. Our Trainers hail from a family of renowned horsemen with a lifetime of working with and training horses and students.
Our trainers have a history of taking riders from the beginner stages all the way through
to the amateur and professional stages of show riding. Whether your sights are
set to the highest level or you simply want to fine tune your riding in a relaxed
setting, we can tailor a program to accommodate your goals.

Mercedes Olivieri
Farm Manager/Trainer
Mercedes started her career at Toppings with Anne Aspinall. She has dedicated over 40 years to horses and has trained young riders from beginner to horse show champions. She has been managing the farm for over 10 years and can usually be found on the tractor keeping the grounds and the landscaping gorgeous!
Carli Fischer
Trainer
Carli has a B.S in equine science from Virginia Tech. She rode on both the IHSA Hunter team and open show team. Carli has dedicated many summers to Topping pony camp, teaching students of all ages how to ride and horse management.

Topping’s is open for business all year long. We offer dry stall leases and full service boarding. The facility offers a variety of riding areas; a large open field hunt course, a smaller grass ring with a full course of jumps, a large sand ring and smaller sand ring as well as an indoor arena. There are two barns with 12 x 12 stalls, wash and grooming stalls and a large tackroom/lounge. Contact us for more details:

BOARDING
Situated on 25 bucolic acres in the heart of Sagaponack, Toppings has an all weather outdoor arena, a secondary sand ring, a grass ring, a 9 acre hunt field and an indoor arena. A spacious tack room also serves as a comfortable sitting and viewing room. There are 2 barns with a combined 21 12x12ft stalls, a large wash and grooming stall. 12 spacious grass paddocks for abundant turnout. The farm is just 1/4 mile from the beach and the fresh ocean breezes blanket the farm throughout the seasons.
MEMBERSHIP
All year round riders at Topping Riding Club are club members who pay monthly dues as well as a one-time $500 per person initiation fee. • Riders may choose to take a maximum of 2 lessons prior to committing to membership. If membership lapses for more than one year, riders must re-initiate.
LESSONS
Whether you are a beginner or experienced rider, improve your riding skills with lessons from our knowledgeable trainers. We provide private or group lessons and offer basic Dressage, jumping and Hunt Seat Equitation. We have a limited number of schoolmaster horses and ponies with quiet temperaments that range from beginner to intermediate levels. We also offer horses and ponies for lease and sale. Lessons are offered to students as young as 3 years of age. For those interested in a membership, we offer 3 trial lessons before membership is required. 24 hour notice is required for CANCELING a lesson. If you are more than 15 minutes late with no notification, you horse will be untacked and you will be billed.
PONY CAMP
Fun, Safe, and Exceptional Individual Instruction. We offer 9 weeks of PONY CAMP
Divided into two sessions: MORNING (9:00 to 12:00) and AFTERNOON (12:30 to 3:30). All instructors are active equestrians and have years of Pony Camp experience. HORSE SHOWING
We are the home of the 2 beautiful Sagaponack Horse Shows held in July & August.
The shows are always the 3rd Wednesday of July and the 2 Wednesday of August.
Our instructors travel to local and regional horse shows including the Winter Circuit in Florida
SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the year Toppings hosts fun events for all ages and riding disciplines. On Halloween, our riders and horses get suited for a Costume ride and contest. Beautiful beach rides are done after the summer season when the beaches are quieter. Please note: Beach rides are open to members and their own horses only. We regret this activity is not available to the general public.
